Really Dark Sunless Tanner

You can use a really dark sunless tanner if you have quite dark skin anyway and you have not been getting very good results from standard skin tanning products. The product we would recommend for a dark skin tan is made by Coppertone, it is called the 'Oil Free Dark Sunless Tanning Lotion'. The reviews we have seen for this product are generally positive, most users stated that it provides quite a natural tan.

Before you use any self tanning product you should always exfoliate first. You should also shave if necessary and moisturise your skin. It is a good idea to wear plastic gloves when during application to avoid over staining of the hands. Cover the larger areas to begin with then deal with the more tricky areas such as the elbows and knees.

If you are still not getting a good, dark tan using Copperetone's really dark sunless tanner you could try using the tan lotion before you go to bed. This can improve results but I would definitely put dark sheets on the bed before you try this.
